Our aim in writing Born For You was simply to bring the reality of Jesus into people's lives using an easily-produced presentation of the Christmas story. We felt it essential that we gave smaller churches, as well as the larger fellowships, the opportunity to put on a production that is both biblical and glorifying to God. It was also our desire to reach those who have never been introduced to Jesus and the Kingdom of God.
We know personally, in our church, that about 200 young people came through the doors every week to join in with the youth work and to learn about Jesus. We wanted to reach their families and their friends to give them hope – to lift them out of pain, worry and fear and give them a new focus and a new horizon.
It is our belief that when we offer something of ourselves to God, for his use, then he multiplies it to reach many others.
The Born For You Production Pack includes:
- 1 rehearsal CD with voices.
- 1 performance CD without voices. For use if there is little or no musical input available.
- Script.
- Production script giving stage direction and production details.
- Score (music top line with words and piano/guitar chords)
- Song words for vocal soloists and singing group
